Purpose

Use this workflow to locate leads or customers and review or update contact-related information.

Prerequisites

  • access to /leads

Steps

  1. Open /leads.
  2. Select the correct contact type, such as leads or customers.
  3. Use search and filters to narrow the dataset.
  4. Review the row data and open the relevant record or detail surface.
  5. Apply the needed update or start the next workflow.
  6. Confirm the table and record reflect the updated state.

Expected Result

  • the correct contact record is identified
  • the needed action is completed without affecting the wrong contact

Common Mistakes

  • searching in the wrong contact type mode
  • leaving stale filters active
  • assuming the new UI and classic UI expose identical workflows

Troubleshooting

  • if counts or rows look wrong, clear filters and verify contact type first
  • if the search result is missing, verify the field being searched, such as phone or VIN
