Working Insurance Follow-Ups¶
Purpose¶
Use this workflow when working insurance follow-ups from the navbar categories.
Prerequisites¶
- access to Message Center
- insurance follow-up categories visible in the navbar
Steps¶
- Open Message Center.
- Use the insurance follow-up navigation to open the correct category:
- Today
- Ready
- Needs Attention
- Warning
- Critical
- Action Required
- Select the follow-up item.
- Review the associated thread and current status.
- If required, send hold-time or follow-up communication.
- Update ownership, status, or assignment when needed.
- Confirm the follow-up now appears in the expected state or category.
Expected Result¶
- the follow-up is actively worked, reassigned, or resolved
- the thread and follow-up state stay aligned
Common Mistakes¶
- skipping the thread review before acting
- sending hold-time communication without checking current timer/state
- assuming category color alone explains the whole situation
Troubleshooting¶
- if the expected follow-up is missing, refresh and verify date range or category logic
- if ownership actions fail, confirm the current assignment and thread lock state
